A “Staple” is a type of OnBase note which allows OnBase users to relate and attach documents to each other in OnBase . For example, you can staple a deposit slip to a related contribution backup documentation check.
How to Staple:
1. Open the primary document that you want other document(s) stapled to.
2. Open the secondary document that you want to staple to the first primary document.
3. Minimize the Search Results screen in the background and click on the secondary document to make it appear on top.
4. Right click on the secondary document and drag that document(s) onto the first document(s).
5. Staples will be created on both documents.
NOTE: Repeat steps one through five for all documents you would like to staple to the primary document. A separate staple will be created on the primary document for each document stapled to it.
